More and more farmers, collectors and companies around the world are implementing actions to regenerate biodiversity. They are achieving some success, but it is difficult to obtain reliable data to plan for additional actions or to communicate impact. Monitoring is said to be complex and costly and hands-on tools are hard to find.
Developed as part of the Private Business Action for Biodiversity project, the Performance and Impact Monitoring Tool is an attempt to fill this gap. The project identifies and analyses promising mechanisms to promote biodiversity-friendly production, tests them and shares experiences with private and public actors globally.
