Integrating Natural Capital into your Business

Increasing opportunities and dealing with risks

5 October 2017 – Frankfurt, Germany

Companies and organizations across all sectors are increasingly beginning to understand the relation between nature and their business: several activities either directly or indirectly depend on natural capital. Few companies are already at the stage where they are integrating natural capital into their day-to-day business, and we have the opportunity to learn from these frontrunners. Besides companies, natural capital also receives attention and support from governments and scientific institutions. Now it is time to learn from the first experiences in Germany as well as internationally and to take steps further to develop understanding and integration of natural capital into your business.

Global Nature Fund is pleased to announce that our international Natural Capital Conference will take place in Frankfurt on Thursday 5 October 2017.

We invite you to attend this conference to learn about recent developments in policy, economics and science regarding natural capital. Practitioners from various industries will share their experiences about how to integrate natural capital into their daily business. You will be challenged to take some steps yourself.

Some of the topics on the agenda are:

  • Integrating Natural Capital – practical experiences from Eosta, Hugo Boss, SEKISUI Chemical Group
  • The finance sector as a driving force – Finance Sector Supplement to the Protocol
  • Natural capital for sustainable supply chains
  • Natural Capital Protocol and the Toolkit – From planning to practice

The programme and registration will be available soon here.

We hope to see you there.

The conference will take place in collaboration with:
