07/09/2021: The EU Code of Conduct on Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices sets out the targets to which food business stakeholders can voluntarily commit in order to tangibly improve and communicate their sustainability performance.
These actions can be directly relevant and implementable in their own operations, or encourage collaboration with other stakeholders in the food value chain (e.g. farmers and consumers) to achieve similar changes. The Code came into force on 5 July 2021.
