Self-Check –Potentials for Biodiversity-Oriented Design of Company Premises
This checklist is designed to help companies initiate nature-oriented design actions on their premises. It is intended to help in collecting relevant documents and information. This conducts an initial assessment regarding potentials for biodiversity-oriented design as well provides suggestions for first steps towards biodiversity-oriented design.
In the course of the project "Nature/Biodiversity-oriented Design of Company
Premises”, this guide manual was developed. This is based on the practical experience in the implementation of nature-oriented design on company premises.

GNF and Lake Constance Foundation present new study on Food Standards and Biodiversity at the Green Week 2014
The topic of the Green Week 2014 that took place in Brussels from June 3 to 5 was “Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency & Waste”. In this context, the Global Nature Fund and the Lake Constance Foundation presented their project on biodiversity in food standards in cooperation with the REWE Group and introduced the new baseline report at a side event. In another session, a speech on natural capital accounting was given. The European Commissioner for the Environment Janez Potočnik visited the exhibition stand and expressed his interest in the project.
Guidelines for cooperation of businesses and NGOs
The new publication "Gaining Profit while Conserving Nature: Guidelines for cooperation of businesses and NGOs in the Visegrad countries" developed throughout multi-stakeholder consultations aims to enhance business – NGO partnerships through analyzing their complexity, spreading well-working case studies as well as providing practical tips for implementation.
