The European Biodiversity Summit is the major event within the European Business & Biodiversity Campaign taking place on 17/18 April 2012 in Stuttgart, Germany.
This 2-day event is the only platform on sustainability & biodiversity in Europe with such a distinct focus on business. It shows with practical examples how business can seize biodiversity opportunities and provides the latest information on biodiversity valuation, new EU regulations and the link to climate change. High-level representatives from companies such as Unilever, Iberdrola, Otto Group and Robert Bosch will join prominent politicians and leaders and present keynotes in front of more than 500 participants.
Participants will benefit from the exchange with businessmen, NGOs, politicians and scientists during their walk through the exposition ("Expo”).The plenary sessions of the conference will be complemented by diverse expert workshops focussing on business and biodiversity related topics, ranging from legal compliance and biodiversity finance to supply chain management and valuation of nature.
